We aim to share benefits and reduce impact through the choice of projects we invest in, improving the way we run our operations to provide better products and services. We have mandatory standards that support our business principles. These relate to sustainable development including health, safety, security, environment and social performance.
Management accountability for sustainable development rests with our chief executive officer and the executive committee. Sustainable development is now part of how we assess our overall business performance and how we reward our people.
